Sales, cancellation and refund policy.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This Sales Policy applies to purchases made directly from Melae Eleve, including digital products, consultancy, brand services, sessions and ongoing services.
1. Before You Purchase
Please read the relevant product or service description carefully before purchasing.
The scope, format, price and any material limitations of a product or service will be displayed at checkout, on the relevant sales page or in your individual proposal.
For bespoke work, your proposal takes priority where it contains specific commercial terms that differ from this general policy.
2. Prices
All prices will be displayed in GBP unless stated otherwise.
Any applicable taxes and compulsory charges will be displayed as required before you commit to purchase.
We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
3. Payments
Payment may be taken:
in full;
through an agreed payment plan;
by deposit or booking payment followed by a balance; or
on a recurring basis where an ongoing service has been selected.
You remain responsible for payments that fall due under an agreed payment plan unless you have a legal or contractual right to cancel.
4. Digital Workbooks and Digital Products
Digital products may include workbooks, templates, guides, downloadable resources and other electronic content.
Where immediate access is supplied to a Consumer during the statutory 14-day cancellation period, we will ask you to expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost once supply begins.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, digital content can be supplied during the 14-day cancellation period where the consumer expressly requests it, acknowledges the loss of the cancellation right and receives the required confirmation. Without those steps, the consumer may retain their cancellation rights.
If a digital product is faulty, materially not as described or otherwise fails to meet statutory requirements, this policy does not affect any remedy available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content supplied to consumers must meet statutory standards, including satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose where applicable and correspondence with its description.
5. Consumer Cancellation Rights for Services
If you are a Consumer who purchases a service online or otherwise at a distance, you will generally have 14 days from the day after the contract is entered into to cancel without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions.
If you ask us to begin providing the service within that cancellation period and then cancel before the service has been completed, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work supplied up to the point of cancellation.
We will obtain your express request before beginning a consumer service during the cancellation period where required.
Where the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the necessary express request and acknowledgement, your statutory right to cancel may end once performance is complete.
6. Business Purchases
Where you purchase primarily for your business, trade or profession, you are contracting as a Business Customer and the statutory consumer cooling-off period does not generally apply.
For bespoke Business Customer projects, once a project has been booked we allocate time and resources specifically to that work.
If you cancel, we may retain an agreed booking payment and charge for:
work already completed;
time already committed;
approved third-party expenditure; and
reasonable non-recoverable costs arising from the cancellation.
Any specific cancellation fee or minimum commitment will be disclosed in your proposal before you enter into the contract.
7. Deposits and Booking Payments
A booking payment reserves capacity within our schedule.
Where a booking payment is described as non-refundable, this applies only to the extent permitted by law.
If Melae Eleve cancels the project without providing an equivalent alternative, amounts paid for services we will no longer provide will be refunded.
For Consumer contracts, nothing in this section overrides statutory cancellation or refund rights.
8. Strategy Sessions and Appointments
Appointments may be rescheduled by contacting consult@melaeeleve.luxury
Unless different terms are stated when booking, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice when changing an appointment.
Where less than 48 hours' notice is given or you fail to attend, the session may be treated as used because that time has been reserved exclusively for you.
We may make exceptions at our discretion where circumstances reasonably justify doing so.
If Melae Eleve needs to rearrange your session, we will offer an alternative appointment.
9. Project Pauses
If you become unavailable during a bespoke project, contact us as soon as possible.
A short agreed pause may be accommodated where scheduling allows.
Extended client delays may require the project to be rescheduled.
Where a project remains inactive for 30 days because requested information, feedback or approvals have not been provided, we may close or reschedule the project after giving reasonable notice.
Reactivation may be subject to current availability and, where substantial remobilisation is required, an additional fee agreed in advance.
10. Revisions
Revisions are governed by your chosen service and project scope.
Unused revision rounds do not carry a cash value and are not refundable.
A request that substantially changes the original brief may be quoted as additional work.
11. Ongoing Services, Memberships and Retainers
Where you purchase an ongoing service, the billing frequency, minimum term and renewal arrangements will be made clear before purchase.
Unless a fixed commitment is expressly stated, recurring services may be cancelled before the next renewal date by following the cancellation method provided with your purchase.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
We do not charge further renewal payments after a cancellation has taken effect.
Payments already relating to a period in which services have been supplied are not automatically refundable, except where required by law or expressly agreed.
12. Refunds
Where you are legally entitled to a refund, we will process it within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Any voluntary refund offered outside your legal rights is at Melae Eleve's discretion and does not create an obligation to offer equivalent refunds in future circumstances.
Refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method where possible.
13. Chargebacks
If you believe a payment has been taken incorrectly, please contact payments@melaeeleve.luxury first so we can investigate.
Fraudulent or knowingly improper chargebacks may be disputed using records demonstrating the purchase, access to digital products, communications and services supplied.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from legitimately exercising rights available through their payment provider.
14. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions:
must be used within the stated promotional period;
cannot normally be exchanged for cash;
cannot normally be applied retrospectively; and
may contain specific eligibility requirements.
Promotions do not affect statutory rights.
15. How to Cancel
