Our Commitment

Melae Eleve believes considered design should make things clearer, not harder to access.

We want our website, digital products and online client experience to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities, neurodivergent users and people using assistive technology.

We are committed to identifying and reducing unnecessary accessibility barriers across our digital experience.

Our Accessibility Approach

We are working towards aligning our website with recognised accessibility good practice, including relevant principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

Where reasonably possible, we aim to support:

clear heading structures;

keyboard navigation;

meaningful alternative text for important images;

readable typography;

sufficient colour contrast;

clear and descriptive links;

zoom and text resizing;

logical page structures;

accessible forms;

captions or written alternatives for important audiovisual information; and

content that does not rely entirely on colour, imagery or animation to communicate meaning.

This statement does not claim that every part of the website currently achieves complete WCAG 2.2 AA conformity.

Reasonable Adjustments

Melae Eleve is committed to making reasonable adjustments where a disabled customer would otherwise experience a substantial disadvantage when accessing our services.

The Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to anticipate accessibility barriers and take reasonable steps to address them. What is reasonable depends on factors including practicality, cost, available resources and the benefit of the adjustment.

Where reasonably possible, adjustments may include:

providing information in an alternative digital format;

providing written information following a verbal consultation;

allowing additional time where accessibility needs affect completion of a questionnaire or project activity;

using an alternative communication method;

providing captions, transcripts or written summaries where appropriate; or

making reasonable adjustments to elements of the client process.

You will not be charged solely because you require a reasonable accessibility adjustment.

Digital Products

We aim to make Melae Eleve workbooks and digital resources clear and usable.

Because some products contain highly visual brand exercises, layouts, imagery or creative direction, certain elements may not be equally accessible in every format.

If you have purchased a digital product and an accessibility barrier prevents you from meaningfully using an important part of it, please contact us. Where reasonably possible, we will explore an accessible alternative.

Known Limitations

We are continually reviewing our digital experience and acknowledge that there may be areas that can be improved.

Current known limitations include:

No specific material accessibility limitations are currently known to us, although we continue to review the website as it develops

Third-party services embedded in or linked from our website may have accessibility features or limitations that are outside Melae Eleve's direct control.

Tell Us What You Need

need information in another format;

experience an accessibility barrier;

please contact us.

When contacting us, it is helpful if you tell us which page, product or service you are having difficulty with and what adjustment or alternative format would assist you.

We will consider accessibility requests individually and aim to provide a practical solution wherever reasonably possible.

Ongoing Review

Accessibility is not treated as a one-time website exercise.

As Melae Eleve develops new services, products, content and website functionality, we will continue to review the accessibility of the experience and make reasonable improvements where appropriate.
